5mm Remington Magnum
Quality Cartridge is pleased to announce the introduction of the Schroeder Centerfire Conversion for the Remington 591 and 592.
The conversion provides a complete bolt-head assembly with go and no-go gages.
Bolt head is through-hardened to Rockwell Rc 55.
Compared to the factory bolt head with case-hardened bolt face Rc 58 and the rest of bolt head hardened to Rc 11.
It requires no other tools except for a pin punch and a hammer to remove the bolt pin.
ALL ORIGINAL PARTS ARE RETAINED so collector value is not ruined.
It is recommended that the headspacing be ckecked and corrected before firing.
There is a $15.00 credit from the manufacturer if the go/no-go gages are returned to the factory within 60 days of purchase.
The greatest thing is the brass is FULLY-RELOADABLE and comparatively inexpensive.
